BMW's only mid-engine supercar, developed partly with Lamborghini and wearing Giugiaro bodywork. Its 3.5-liter M88 straight-six with individual throttle bodies made 273 hp, reaching 165 mph. Just 453 were built, spawning the Procar racing series and seeding BMW's M division engine lineage.
